Sure could use some help.

I seem to have lost the volume on the beeps,chimes,etc. that would signal anything from opening a new window ,menu popup,closing a program etc.There is no problem with the musical cds.I am running windows 98 and netscape 4.6....Hope someone can help...Thanks
