I guess you have a sensitive spot here Little Screwdriver. You do understand, don't you, that a SPECfp95 benchmark test of 28.1 is better than 24.3.

For another interesting result, check 3D Winbench 99 (Transform and Lighting): AMD750 - 102.7 and Intel733 - 106 instead of the 102.3 score from AMD.

AMD did its best and Intel did its best on the benchmark tests. Both optimized their technology. It is clear, for whatever reason, that Intel achieved better performance than the 750 on some benchmarks.

And it is clear that AMD rigged its tests of the Intel 733 to understate Intel performance.

How are you going to make that "go away" Little Screwdriver, yapping loudly like a little dog?

I still look forward to an independent, side-by-side, suite of benchmarks for more information. In any event, the benchmark game will continue.
