I would like to hear your story.

I signed up for Bell South fast access (adsl) through their website test. This test was to determine (from your address?) whether your house would be eligible for dsl. Everything was ok and several days later they came to the house and installed dsl modem. The connection worked fine (zero down time) for about one month and then went out. After several visits by techs over the space of a week they could not discover what was wrong. They tried several modems, installed a new nic? box, and replaced or tested the wiring...all to no avail. IMO the bottom line...they couldn't figure out what was wrong so rather than spend the amount of time and $$$ to fix my problem they said my connection was on the edge of their 2-3 mile service limit and they disqualified my house from service eligibility. Funny it worked for the first month. Do you think they moved the nearest telephone station? Hope this was not thoroughly confusing. :-)
