Call it a nit if you want, but you're referring to the passage you seem to be (page 101), Dr. Rosenthal's "admonishment" came during the morning session when they were discussing the PMA for VISX and Summit, and furthermore applied to the fact that there were known to be many instances where Lasik was already being used for hyperopia on an off-label basis, a fact which manifestly does not apply to the Sunrise product. The fact that the panel proceeded to disapprove the Sunrise application tells me that they certainly did not feel the commentary applied to the Sunrise case.
