By selling off my shares at $11.00.
Having the opportunity to buy back at $8.45 proved to be great.
The shares will likely inch back up to $10.50 and then when the folks that tendered get their shares back--(I think it could take up to 7 days) I am sure many will buy back because the upside is like Mr Milton said while all the nonsense was going on --Price $16-$24 depends who you talk with. Presently smart investors are taking advantage of this reduced price. I'm already fully reinvested. I hope I gain more on the sell and buy back price than I would of gotten thru the tendering process. I never tendered as I was fearful of loosing control of my shares as by past history this has burnt me.
If the Canadian deal still does not go thru--I can see a slight reduction in the share price for a day or two but thats what is needed to give us a $24.00 value. I say that because Air Canada belongs on the TSE 100 now and when that happens index funds will have to buy their shares--guess What there is fewer out there now.
Miltons group has really set up a great platform to show this company is a great investment. Forecasts are already $1.50 to $1.82 per share for 1999. I think their income will shock everyone.
Milton will beat that figure easily. And I say that because the yield type passengers, are also the ones who like security in their travel plans. They will be booking on Air Canada. Yup " The boys at Onex smelt the money ", but Miltons keeping it.

Boy I think I've just talked myself into buying more Air Canada shares.
