>I mention it because it reminded me of how beautiful the Virginia countryside can be.....<

Yes. I quickly grow weary of the far eastern Piedmont region of the state, and I do not care terribly for Tidewater, except for a few select places (Williamsburg, Jamestown, etc.). But I adore the area from central Piedmont westward to the Allegheny Plateau. That is where the real beauty is found in my opinion. I was in West Virginia not long ago and found that state lovely also, albeit not as sexy as Virginia (grin).

>You really should take the kids to Williamsburg in the spring...<

Well now Neo, you pique my interest. I have, in passing, thought about doing this. But now I think I will take it a bit more seriously.

>Annapolis itself has a few colonial structures, of course, and I grew up going to places like Mount Vernon?but no place goes to all of the trouble of Williamsburg....<

I unfortunately cannot remember it terribly well. I think I saw it during a blistering summer, and as I am a cold weather fella I must have spent the lion?s share of my energies trying to endure rather than enjoy the visit. But I will visit during the spring. Looking forward to it.

>Bach is wonderful. I think I have mentioned, my single favorite aria is from the St. Matthew's Passion, "Mache Dich"......<

Yes. That one was brought to light and the world has never been the same since.

Hey. I have seen a few movies since we last spoke. Perhaps we talk on them when I return. I also saw the two "Austin Powers" movies. Not exactly my sort of films.
