Jim, I also have no doubt when AMD puts the cache on the athlon die that the coppermine will not even come close... How easy is that to do? Not exactly like putting a Big Ben puzzle together, especially if you want good yields. Do people assume that because Intel, or IBM has done it, it just follows that anyone else can? Remember Cyrix, IDT and Rise failing the MHz (which sells) test? In the last few years (say, since SI) what has AMD done that's a real keeper besides the K7? Also, when's AMD plan to pull the L2 cache onboard with the CPU? Willamette's coming. Tony
