The WTO is the only international agency overseeing the rules of international trade. Its purpose is to help trade flow smoothly, in a system based on rules, to settle trade disputes between governments, and to organize trade negotiations. Gee! What is wrong with the old might makes right Nietzche paradigm - the strong rule the weak - as long as I am a citizen of the country with the greatest military and a shareholder of the companies with the greatest economic strangleholds - the rest of you can party till you puke :-)
