I , and many others, have pored over that balance sheet and the "risk of zero" variables until every car looked like a convertible and all my sins seemed redeemable and every Bond movie looked like the 12% solution. The balance sheet is not that dire, in my opinion, unless they sit on their hands for the next year. For better or worse, Ampex's CEO and board of directors are all financial pros....so I doubt that they will let matters get that grim. Too many fallback positions - assets to sell,IPOs to be launched,possible financial alliances to be forged, maybe even sales and royalties to be increased for zero to be a likely possibility.
