the PR states that the assets are being liquidated and they obviously
have a significant value...buildings, equipment, etc. They began the liquidation process in early
Aug., so it very unlikely they have not already worked out arrangements for their purchase. What
are three manufacturing plants worth?...IMO somewhere between $10-15MM. The difference
between the monies generated by the sale of assets and the $15MM owed will be the $ amount
used for conversion...and that only after a restriction of at least 1 year. Sure, OS would increase
in such a deal by some amount(much less than the 750MM), but that does
not change what is out there for the next year to be traded. It surely does not change the
extreme short position currently being suffered by the mm's.
