taxman, What do you think of MSFT right now. Dump the shares or selling covered calls or just hold on? I am tempted to sell calls. I don't have a position as large as i use to but MSFT is still a significant part of my portfolio. OT-you got your calls on JDSU in the spring? Wow! I wish i had invested some in options back then and not just shares. I started buying calls a few weeks before earnings and sold lots of calls for big gains around the earnings release and have been holding stock since. Tempted to buy lots of January calls if we see these prices for a little while longer--stock split Dec 29.
