No.. I'm not confused at all Fred.

Eventually there will be World Govt... just like individual nations in Europe have banded together in the European Union (although the jury is still out on how successful they will be). It is the natural progression for mankind if we ever hope to move out beyond our world (either physically or spiritually).

Just because you equate "world govt" with totalitarianism and subjugation doesn't mean the rest of us have to. In fact the only totalitarian nations to exist during this century have either fallen to Western style "democracy" or are in the process of evolving towards it. I would welcome a world govt based upon the values and principles of the US constitution. I would think that others would be in favor of that as well.

And the physical rule of Jesus Christ on this planet after the apocalypse (according to Christian doctrine) will be absolute benevolent monarchy. And it probably has to be that way because we can't get our collective acts together and accomplish it ourselves voluntarily.

Subjugation can only come to a people that permit themselves to be subjugated. Thank goodness that the US military as a whole understands their place in this society as a servant of the popularly elected govt and protector of the constitution.

Without military support, I see little chance that some dictator will ever have the opportunity to gain control of these United States. We're too damn independent and stubborn (and well armed).

When you should worry is when political parties and politicians stop pandering to the US public and decide to ignore public opinion.

And I don't see that happening very soon.

Regards,

Ron
