Darleen its the same reason Netscape didn't go anywhere after MSFT started giving away Explorer. Tegic was a privatly run firm and in business to make a profit. As such they sold their engineering services and software. ZICA really hasn't let on how they got their deals (Did they underprice Tegic). Anyway Tegic offers wireless e-mail, messaging and the text input software. I doubt AOL is interested in this software (Tegic) as a business, rather AOL wants to bundle this capability in with their internet service and raise the bar so to speak......perhaps they are interested in some sort of standard, however I don't know if anything within the Tegic products would lend itself towards that. They could end up giving away the input software, in which case the game changes for ZICA Mad2 cbs.marketwatch.com
