By my assessment, the handhelds have finally crossed chasm, and are currently in the bowling alley stage.

Don't forget that bowling-alley strategies don't work well with consumer products. If you're right that handhelds have crossed the chasm, it's important that Palm use horizontal marketing as in the tornado stage even if the tornado hasn't begun. My thinking is that signing up Sony as a partner is part and parcel to that strategy, a darned good one.

So, if there is enough interests, I could set up a Handhelds GG portfolio, similar to Mike Buckley's Front Office GG portfolio, and give everybody periodic updates on handhelds tornado watch.

Please, yes! YES! YES!
