Gates/NETP - this is good publicity. News about how Bill Gates invests his own money will probably attract lots of eyeballs, and the first company mentioned in the press-release is NETP. The article's 1st few paragraphs basically say: "Bill's personal money --> Hummer Winblad --> NETP" Ironically, the article goes on to mentioned Paul Allen, and Vulcan Ventures, but without mentioning their investment in NETP: "...Paul Allen, who helped Gates found Microsoft and now makes numerous public investments through a company called Vulcan Ventures."
