Great job on SNDK, Squire Hawk.

What I like about SNDK is that their consumer market potentially appears to be spectacularly explosive, especially if CompactFlash can become the de facto standard for many widely adopted consumer products.

What I don't like is that it is memory, which can be someday commoditized, and be a field of many princes. However, maybe I am wrong here. SDRAM is an open standard and a dozen or so manufacturers produce it for PC OEMs. Do I understand that SNDK is the only one to make CompactFlash, or can others make it too? What is the strength of the IPR? IF I understand other posts on SNDK, the strength of the IPR is a closely held secret.

The real question for those of us with limited income is to determine which of a dozen or more attractive G & K plays should be the ones in which to invest. So for me, do I want Siebel, JDSU, NTAP, reinforce GMST?, or even more Q given its reasonable forward P/S and P/E? As I type this, I am thinking JDSU, as a play on the telecosm, and as some sort of hybrid between a king and a gorilla.
