Now its clear why ABTE has had a strong updraft recently. These type of stocks always jump up before bad news....

Got to hand it to them. This is the best worded we've got to restate earnings press release I've seen. This statement in particular is good:

The
appropriate accounting treatment for long-term service contracts of this nature is not clearly
defined, particularly when the contracts have been assumed as part of a purchase business
combination.


If its not clear, why do earnings have to be restated?
