Now its clear why ABTE has had a strong updraft recently. These type of stocks always jump up before bad news.... http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/991201/ga_able_te_1.html Got to hand it to them. This is the best worded we've got to restate earnings press release I've seen. This statement in particular is good: The appropriate accounting treatment for long-term service contracts of this nature is not clearly defined, particularly when the contracts have been assumed as part of a purchase business combination. If its not clear, why do earnings have to be restated?
