Hi Harry, a couple of days ago when a client paid up past accounts I took a flyer, worried it might be a fryer, with a penny stock (symbol CDNO). You can buy a lot of shares when the price is below .022. There had been a marked pick up in activity from a very flat .014 - .015 trading range. Its classic, a rumor spike, back to fill the gap and it took off again yesterday on heavy volume. It has a wonderful mix of rumors and tantalizing "facts" that if true, validate the spontaneous explosion in price. Consider though, that one share of Yahoo will get you 3600 shares.. we're talking Heisenberg principle... any trading influences the reality.
Yes on flat panels.. thanks, always appreciated. Will look into GNSS,SAGE and SIMG.
GNSS seems to be rising off its 52 week range low 15 - 35 13/16, at 18 1/2. Although a longer chart shows it making a horizontal band.. odds favor up to 25 no problem, 34 possible. However, insider activity doesn't look overly optimistic nor do analysts' upgrade/downgrades. But product demand and gross revenue growth are solid, question is top line because of Taiwan eqake and how much it costs to do new business.
David D. Lee, Chairman, President & CEO of Silicon Image (Nasdaq: SIMG - news) is highlighted by an industry expert, ``What's great about the management there is basically how they have maneuvered into becoming a pretty important player in determining what technology that market moves into.' Nice compliment.. although the stock price looks high among the three..
