Victor, I think I can answer that (since it's the business I work in). AV isn't part of CPQ's core competency. It's a media business. It is highly unlikely that CPQ could have managed it well (it's got serious problems now, as it is). As an example, look at AT&T and @Home....AT&T is preparing to spin it off.
Content provision and management is a difficult business, and if you aren't familiar with it, it can cost you more than you'll make.
