I dont care what the article says I dont believe it. The Mgmt at
FORE would be idiots to go to Compaq which really is not a NWK co.
they bought a small switching Co. a few years back like NPIX with
no real presence in NWK to speak of. Have you ever seen their switches
advertised ??

If they did anything they would merge with a carrier CO like NWK or
maybe GDC.

Financially they dont need to as they have plenty of cash and have
tanked out of fear and greed.
