Simple: EMC is older and bigger. The SAN space is older and bigger, coming from the raised floor computer room. The NAS space is growing faster (35% versus 85%). Look at this for a 20 month perspective. Judge for your self the risk versus reward between these two kings, historically speaking, of course:
