JS:" Market doesn't trust TM ".

JS I pondered further on the TM enigma.ÿ
I may have to conclude that we all ( including me ) may have been too hard on TM.

What has TM done that is so bad?
Trying to go it alone, from zero, to being No1 Carrier'sÿ oem?
Against old, embedded competitors, LU, CSCO, NT?
He did it by himself. He didn't go out and ask you to buy his stock.
And he went a long ways. Large Europe Carriers use NN systems.

The glitch occurred in North America. And we know why.
CSCO has been promising Carrier quality networking equipmentÿ
for the last 4 years causing US Carriers to postpone buying NN products.
Or selling to some ( AT&T ) only to fail miserably.
They are still failing miserably: Telia, ION in downtown Manhattan, Sprint.
But that's CSCO: blue smoke and mirrors: an investment bank
disguised as a Telco OEM.ÿ
Whom customers let get away with crap
nwfusion.com
CSCO is basically a LAN/router co. And if any start up developsÿ
a better one ( like Juniper I believe ) crisco's high margin Router Rugÿ
getsÿ pulled out from under their fat PE and it will be a sightÿ
to watch: I still remember the 60% correction of 5 years ago.ÿ

However back to TM.

He tried to get onto LAN with UBS and failed.ÿ

So now where are we?ÿ

Well, I believe that shareholders and the BOD gave TM 4 yearsÿ to get to theÿ
top all alone ( without cannibalizing other start ups )
something that few or better yet , nono, had ever succeeded.
A giant target that nobody has ever succeeded that I know off.

So is TM lying now when he says he is open to selling the co?

I think for anybody to say that we need evidence that he lied in the past.

I don't see that. Do you? Can you quote specifics?

So I am convinced that TM is bright enough now to know that they have to getÿ
with a bigger player to address a bigger market and get more R&D money.
Also the BOD has a say in this. I don't believe they are TMs puppets.

I think you can see a definite change in NN here:

We all knew for years that overhead was too high.ÿ
Well nothing was done about it until now. Maybe TM is a nice guy
after all and resisted laying off all these people until now.
Wouldn't you then say thatÿ
he is now forced ÿ
( by the BOD or by his own thinking ),
to doÿ something he didn't like .

So bottom line here is theÿ

I detect a real change in NN .

A change for the better. And this time I have a very strong hunch I will not beÿ
disappointed,

TA

ÿÿÿÿÿÿ I still think that TM is by far the biggest factor here. You would figure that with analysts estimating a purchase price of anywhere from $33-$60 that we
would get a
ÿÿÿÿÿÿ bigger jump in price than we've had. The market just doesn't trust TM!!!ÿ

ÿÿÿÿÿÿ If this is simply a ploy to prop up the stock and sweep the bad earnings under the rug, then we're in trouble. However, if this is an honest attempt to
prepare the
ÿÿÿÿÿÿ company for sale, then we're in the money because it could be an attractive purchase for the right company.

ÿÿÿÿÿÿ Also, if this drags on too long, it might slow the price momentum considerably. If it's going to happen, it's got to happen sooner rather than later.

ÿÿÿÿÿÿ Regards,ÿ
