Liberate... good company. I wish I knew the tech and could comment more (wireless - not my thing), however from a general standpoint a big part that was lacking in these handheld devices was software - specifically interface software to the host that allowed meaningful data transmission up to an application that cared. I'm thinking about bar coded serial numbers in the factory back to the erp or something. Anyway Liberate, with a relationship with Oracle probably has that vision thing down whereas other wireless applications really didn't know what they were trying to do... jmo. Wineshopper.com is a fun company too!
