They are, are they not?

Olu - do you personally feel the one-click technology is innovative? I do not. The US Patent office has certainly made mistakes in the past.

Amazon has every right to defend their patent. But, personally, I hope Amazon loses. Because I view this issue as a case of Amazon's taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of the US patent office and the federal courts in an effort to further their business. And I see Amazon's action as actually having a negative impact on the growth of e-commerce. Can you imagine what will happen if Amazon actually wins the case against Barnesandnoble.com? Who will be next - will Amazon go after every site that allows customers to buy things with one mouse click?

It would be great if Amazon focused more on generating profits through their business operations, rather than legal maneuvering.

By the way - I don't think I need to remind you - but AMZN has to gain 24 points in 21 trading days - or I'll see a case of Heineken coming my way for the millennium.

Thanks,
-Eric
