dol.gov In the week ending Nov. 27, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 291,000, an increase of 15,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 276,000. The 4-week moving average was 286,500, a decrease of 250 from the previous week's revised average of 286,750.
New Home Sales for Oct. = +16%
census.gov OCTOBER 1999 NEW HOUSING SALES AT ANNUAL RATE OF 986,000 Sales of new one-family houses in October 1999 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 986,000 according to estimates released today by the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is 16 (+/-9) percent above the revised September rate of 848,000 and 9 (+/-10) percent above the October 1998 rate of 903,000. |
