RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., Dec 2, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Viking Components, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing manufacturers of component technology, Thursday announced validation for its Rambus(R) RIMM(TM) modules for the Intel(R) 820 chipset and 840 chipset in capacities of 96 megabyte (MB), 128 MB and 256 MB. Volume production of Viking RIMM modules is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.
