Geez Bux, I've used enough puters to know they are some cruel torture device for humanity. A bit like alcohol and drugs - tempting, fun and even useful, but seductive and destructive. I wonder how many puters have been shot, or keyboards hammered like the Duck 'hit any key to continue' famous poster which must be about the most famous ever.

Okay, maybe there are heaps of trap doors around, installed during Y2K 'fixes'!

But the trend is overall okay. That $300bn will eventually find a happy home and the flat tyre equivalents of the puter age will be a curiosity of the past. [Anyone older than 50 should remember plenty of flat tyres]. Cars just don't break down these days. Well - a slight exaggeration, but new ones are really good.
