I think the stock would go through the roof once the market groked the model. Even if it might not be the smartest thing to do in some worldview. I'm seeing "AT&T Desktop Service (-$400)" as an alternative choice to Office 2001 in the desktop software pull-down on the Dell Configure-a-System page. Microsoft loses a customer to AT&T forever, with all that implies. Sometimes the best is the enemy of the good? Still trying to understand this ... I bet I'm not alone ... late night oil in Redmond, eh?
