Hedge against *what? Judge PJ rescinding his finding of fact?

No, against a settlement. Against a short-term relief rally in MSFT based on the removal of uncertainty surrounding the lawsuit. Related in no way to business fundamentals of any company. Remember, there's no "rational".

MSFT has basically been congested while the Nasdaq has had a party, although it's been creeping up lately. If there's a settlement, any settlement, I believe a lot of money will fly into MSFT in a short time. TI has made some eloquent arguments predicting a settlement. He thinks the settlement will be tough on M$FT. I think, if it happens at all, it may not be.

I could certainly be wrong. I don't believe we'll have the chance to find out because I don't believe they'll settle. I agree long-term with TI's observation that M$FT may never again being the company it once was.

But since IMHO there's a small probability of a very large spike, I'm placing a bet on it.
