Jim, been nothing publicly, but I think 20 for 1 is a done deal!
The stockholders vote was the first week in April. Seeing that controlling interest is held by DW, his family and those under his direction, there is little doubt that it passed. As soon as they print everything up and take of the logistics it will happen.
No Jim, I haven't got burned, I have just watched Camelot for over 2 years and seen lots of other people burned. I strongly disapprove of the way the do business without any regard for ethics.
Many people do not look past the hype releases, I do what I can to fill in the blanks.
BTW Camelot's worst enemy is not congress, it IS Camelot's management. At one time there was potential for Digiphone, but it was mismanaged to the point where it has become no more than money losing also ran in a higly competitive industry. In fact, everything that Camelot has tried to do has lost money. Only DWs ability to fast talk organizations and individual stockholders into pumping money in so Camelot can quickly throw it away, has kept them around this long.
There is little reason to expect that anyone might be interested in buying Camelot. There are a large group of small enterprises in internet telephony that have better products (Digiphone is truly junk campared to just about everything else currently available) and have done far better than Camelot with far less money. They also could be had much cheaper and wouln't come with the excess baggage that is Camelot management.
The other problem is that basic net phone apps have become reasonably easy to produce. Software tools can be used to do most of the work for you. Anyone with the resources to buy Camelot, has the resources to build their own software!
Who can you think of that would want:
a sofware retailer that failed with real store front, now wnts to make people think it can make a go as an Internet concern.
a software distributer that has always lost money.
An Internet service provider that loses money.
I could continue, but you get the idea!
It is good to dream, I dream about winning the lottery someday! It seems that our dreams are about equally likely to come true! |
