Interesting that a "bug" is found in the flagship product of Intel, widely publicized beginning around 3 yesterday, and there is NO negative stock price reaction - in fact it goes up!

Suggests that the big issues for investors are what they should be. What are the next quarter earnings? What are the prospects for the next year? Is Intel taking the steps to maintain/increase it's position in its core products and expanding sensibly and on schedule into new venues where there are good margins and good growth prospects?

Absent a definitive answer, I am guessing the price noodles between 70 and 90. A SERIOUS negative answer to any of the three questions would probably push it into the 50s. A price near 70 suggests a little doubt (AMD dust in investors eyes) and a price near 90 would indicate enthusiasm (looks like all cylinders firing). In about 45 days that conference call is gonna MOVE this stock bigtime, IMHO (unless there's a leak or preannouncement). It's pretty clear that volume is huge, so the mix (ASPs) and production yields are the big issues. I remain hopeful, but we'll see.
