Hi Allen,

Until I moved recently I was outside of coverage for broadband landline service as well. I opted to get the Internet from outer space. It was quite satisfactory. Hughes DirecPC. They advertise 400K downloads and I was able to easily achieve that on a regular basis. My best was 700K.

You still need to use an ISP for your outgoing traffic so the cost is $250 for the equipment, after rebate, $35 per month for 100 hours of service and a buck an hour thereafter, plus your ISP charges. Aiming the satdish is real easy and the pci card no problem. Let me know if you want any more particulars.
