Wally: This apparent ceiling on the S & P is one of the healthy things in this market. I see that Abby is on the wires today. I find it amazing that she is projecting a 5% gain in the S & P buy Fall 2000 and people are tripping over each other to get in this market. Good grief, I can make 5.5% in a money market with no risk and the good potential for higher rates (even according to Abby) in the short end. There is as strong an argument for some cash today than I can think of at anytime in the past five years.
