When I read that link, the words "developing on its own" seem to imply there is not a connection with AMD (as a previous post suggested). AMD has enough capacity to make all the K6 chips they can sell, right now nobody seems to be buying. I am hoping IDTI is planning on a RISC based X86 chip of their own design because the margins will be much fatter than just cranking out silicon for another CPU vendor.
