I am seeing an afterhours bid at 10, ask at 12 1/4.

Quite a spread, yes? Or is this pretty normal for afterhours shenanigans?

And does this mean it will open higher tomorrow morning?

I know I shouldn't care too much about this, since I am in for a much longer haul, but I am curious and always interested in furthering my knowledge of how things work and why.
