Does Theratope Work???????

In the phase II trial, an earlier formulation of Theratope caused a median survival time of 26
months vs. 10 months in a historical control group. There was a strong correlation between
antibody responses to Theratope and survival times. A 38 patient bridging study using a more
potent form of Theratope was conducted in 1998. 35% of the patients in that trial had a higher
antibody response than the highest observed in the phase II trial. The median survival time in that
study has not been reached yet; i.e.,most of the patients are still alive.

The phase III trial that started in Dec 1998 is the first placebo controlled trial. The first interim
review of that data is about a year away.

That's the short answer.
