Lizzie, I won't pretend to be an expert on a second-hand account of something reported on TV.

One of the lawyers here may want to address the nature of the "crime" you refer to. I would like to hear you make the case for the seniors being guilty of "stealing" and from whom.

I suspect (but do not know) that the crime is not buying the drugs, but bringing them into the U.S. in specified quantities. More than willing to be corrected.

Now that you have found the word "gauge" in your dictionary, you may want to go the extra mile and find out how it is pronounced and what it means.
