Is there an easy way to make a quote sheet of option chains?

James, let me add to Steve's response. I'm using the Market Watch Format. ie: Portfolio on bottom, Chart in upper right, US Market Watch upper left, US Stocks & Trades middle left.

To get an Option Chain, Lets use an example, ie; Compaq, CPQ. Add this to quote in Portfolio. Now HighLite CPQ. Notice the Chain in inside left tool bar is highlited?( this chain will not light with Chart lighted and sometimes with Symbol in Symbol Box in upper left corner unless it's in Portfolio). Click on CPQ in portfolio, click on Option chain, a Option Chains window drops down. Make sure CPQ is in Symbol box here. from month box choose Jan. Strike Min box type in 20, Strike Max box type in 30, Type box choose Calls. Click " As New Quote Sheet" Click OK.You only wanted Strikes from 20 to 30 but from the Option dropdown sheet you get Jan 15 alway to Jan 75. Highlite all except a few Close to Stock price & delete.(no point in having all the Strikes) CPQ closed at 25 15/16. The 27.5 strike (CPQAY) is 1 9/16. Minimize the Option window, Watch where it goes, probably behind the Portfolio Window. To call it up, minimize the Portfolio window, Maximize Option window. (I have 4 Option List minimized in this location). You can Drag the minimized bar to any location and once you save the WorkSpace, they will remain in this location. Be sure to Save WorkSpace.
Add the Jan 27.5 OPT Symbol, CPQAY, to line immediate below CPQ in Portfolio. If you own the stock, when Chart Spikes Sell the Covered Calls, when stock bottoms, buy them back. Sell Puts for Ride back up. Money can be made daytrading the Calls. Stock peaks do it all over.

Hope this isn't too muddled. Been using only 3 weeks and not too sharp.

Regards, /jw

ps: anyone, feel Free to jump in!
