Hi Michael, I normally avoid IPOs since they tend to become grossly overvalued, in my opinion, very quickly. But I wish I'd paid closer attention to this one, and bought shares sooner. If you compare price to sales, and price to book for CHRT and TSM, it's clear that CHRT is currently a much better value. Yahoo has TSM's P/B at 20 and P/S at 34, while CHRT's numbers are 10 and 9, respectively. Do you know where we can get the numbers for UMC? Right now, Chartered has both the semiconductor up cycle and the out sourcing trend going for it. I hope this is the find I think it is. Best of luck to us all. SPB
