Chuck, Niceguy and Ted: Re: After hours:

My comments yesterday and today re after hour trading is AMD SPECIFIC.

Notice a striking feature of the AMD after hour price in the last few days -- it is BECOME A CLOSE PRICE even though they were small in numbers.

After hour prices for other stocks WOULD NOT CONSECUTIVELY become close price for the stocks in question. But, AMD did in the last couple of days.

The AMD situation implies that someone really knows the inner working of quote system and that person commands capacity to put into the few hundred share trade as close price. It is amazing to me, to say the least.

Niceguy, I share your optimism in regard to AMD, differ a bit on Q4 numbers. What important to me as a stockholder (no option which provide me with a longer time frame to expect stock performance) is that AMD is on its way to become a true semi power house and a true semi power house such as txn and intc command a market cap north of 50 billions. It will take some time to get there.
