TL & All,

Yesterday I heard a guy on TV...can't recall who, saying that because the breadth of the market has been so bad all year many funds and institutional money managers (particularly "value" buyers who haven't been in high p/e stocks) have been performing rather poorly. Because they need to make themselves look better fast they have been piling into the better performing issues to beef up their performance prior to the year end. As a result price movements have been "supply/demand" based rather than having any relationship to valuations. He went on to say that "none of them have any interest in letting this rally end before year end, but watch out for it shortly thereafter."

As a chronic cynic, I find this explanation for what is happening in CKFR and many other stocks as plausible as any. It seems like an unusual opportunity, but one that should be taken advantage of in the short term, while planning to be virtually "out" by Christmas.
