J.P. Morgan Upgrades Alcatel To Buy From Mkt Perform PARIS -- J.P. Morgan has upgraded its recommendation on shares in French telecommunications equipment supplier Alcatel SA (ALA) to buy from market performer, after the company held an upbeat meeting with analysts Thursday. The securities house set a target price of EUR250 for the stock, which closed at EUR196.50 Thursday.
