Easton is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, off of Route 50 heading towards Ocean City. It is about halfway between Annapolis and the ocean, although the way the Bay broadens, there is bay access to the south of the town center. There is also a lot of marshland in the area, with many ducks and geese. Were one to proceed to Virginia from there, it would be about an hour to the bit of Virginia on the Delmarva Peninsula, and a bit over two hours to the Hampton Roads area, since one has to go through a bunch of towns on the way to the Bridge- Tunnel at the end of the Bay........
