Computers have entered a new dimension. The consumer market in particular which will have computers as we know it, computer like gizmos (like TIVO), and digital TV in general are going to require that entry level machines are fast enough for smooth 3D graphics. That will lead to a surge of fast servers and storage for content delivery. It's the mid range with word-processor, web, and spreadsheets that may survive on current speeds, at least for a while.
