Peter: Your three points may well be flags. I too am trying to figure out where the "lesson" is here. The three points you made were all well known to me as a investor, but I didn't think they were overriding factors. Now I think that these points may have made the stock more speculative than it already was. Perhaps my committment to mining stocks has made me reckless in this regard. That is, I may have become too resilient in accounting for these doubtful factors in general because in this sector, speculation is a big part of the game. Maybe I need a "stop loss" on "doubtful factors" and "fishy circumstances."
