The tick corrects itself right when the market opens. It is as if a reset messed up the last bar and it gets fixed when real data starts to show up. The day chart should be fine now. The Quote.com QCharts page has a pointer to their "Developer" page and basically all you have to do is signup as a developer for them and they will send you a development kit that can be used to develop programs for the Quote.com feed. Have your son look into that. -Atin
