Signal Technology Keltec Forms Strategic Alliance With Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company

DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 1999--Signal Technology Corp. (AMEX:STZ) today announced that its Keltec Division has formed a strategic alliance with Sanders, a Lockheed Martin company, to develop a low-cost, high-voltage power supply for missile warning sensors.

The alliance is part of an initiative to reduce production cost of the Advanced Tactical Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM) system for the AH-64D Apache Longbow and other rotary and fixed wing aircraft.

It is anticipated that Keltec will receive low rate initial production orders in June 2000, with potential revenues from the program that could exceed $5 million over the next five years. Keltec will perform the development and production work at its Fort Walton Beach, Fla., facility.
