Art, RE: Clik v. Flash

Yes, Clik seems to weigh a bit more and use a bit more power, but are these factors enough to deter the mass market consumer from buying Clik at 90% cheaper than flash?

the main stream of digital camera buyers would probably demand the performance of flash memory

Is there really such a great performance difference between flash and clik? My (in)experience is limited to using floppies in a Sony Mavica.
I am thinking that early adopters who already own digital cameras tend to be less price sensitive than mass market users, who may be willing to accept certain trade-offs for a substantially lower price point.
