Financial Reform Act of 1999 is the official title of the financial services bill. I got this official title from this week's BARRRONS.

In that issue was a very telling article on American Insurance Group's chief, Maurice Greenberg. Take a look at the article to see what a true miser can do for shareholder value. AIG bought SunAmerica the life insurer and annuity seller recently. He is buying brokers, insurers, and credit card issuers from the Phillipines, Taiwan, Japan, Argentina, etc. Yet he says he is not interested in like companies in the USA because their net income is not predictable? Am I missing something here or does Maurice speak with forked tongue?
