[Unconditional Love]
Pat: I heard a discussion over talk radio this morning about the term "unconditional love", which apparently describes cases such as when mothers or fathers continue to love their offspring, even if they commit the most terrible of crimes. It is simply a way for the parents to refuse to admit to themselves that their children could do something wrong.
I wonder, Pat, if you have "unconditional love" for Amati, in the sense that you continue to dismiss the significance of any Amati insider sales of stock. Has this love clouded your normally rational assessment of the company's management, its future, etc.?
In my opinion, these recent sales of stock, by a number of insiders, cannot be related to anything but inside news of the near term prospects for the firm. These people know their business better than anyone else, and these stock sales are, in my humble opinion, nothing more than avenues for turning future, near term misfortunes, for the company, into short term profits.
I think the lack of insider buying speaks volumes. All the insiders who have sold in the past few months cannot be stupid, need money for taxes, new homes, etc. |
